Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using TraderPact, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must have reached the age of majority where you live and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you.

3. What TraderPact provides

TraderPact is a discipline, planning, calculation, and recordkeeping tool. It lets users compare a proposed trade with strategy rules, estimate risk and reward, keep a self-reported journal, and review discipline and profit-and-loss patterns.

4. No investment advice or brokerage service

TraderPact does not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice and is not a broker, dealer, exchange, portfolio manager, or registered adviser. It does not recommend securities or trading strategies, execute orders, connect to a brokerage account, or verify live prices, news, liquidity, or market conditions.

An “Approved” result means only that the information you entered passed the selected rule set. It is not a recommendation or prediction.

5. Trading risk and calculations

Trading can result in substantial loss, including loss of all capital committed. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You make every trading decision and accept all resulting gains, losses, fees, taxes, and other consequences.

Risk calculator results are estimates based on your inputs and configured tick, pip, point, and contract values. Values, specifications, spreads, commissions, slippage, currency conversion, and execution can differ. Verify all figures and broker specifications before acting.

6. Your account

You may sign in using the authentication methods TraderPact makes available. Keep your credentials secure, provide accurate information, and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity in your TraderPact workspace and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

7. Free and paid features

TraderPact may offer free features and paid subscription features. The features included in each plan, the applicable price, billing interval, and any trial or promotional terms will be shown before purchase. Paid features may include the trading journal, calendar, exports, discipline dashboard, profit-and-loss analytics, and other features identified as part of a paid plan.

We may add, modify, or remove plan features over time. If a change materially reduces a paid plan during an active billing period, we will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law.

8. Subscriptions, billing, and automatic renewal

When you purchase a subscription, you authorize TraderPact and its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the price and billing interval displayed at checkout, plus applicable taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

You are responsible for keeping your billing information current. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and suspend or remove access to paid features until payment is successfully completed. We may change subscription prices by giving advance notice as required by applicable law. A price change will apply no earlier than your next renewal after the notice period.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription at any time through the available subscription-management controls or by contacting TraderPact support. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you will retain paid access until then. Cancelling stops future renewal charges but does not delete your TraderPact account or records.

Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partially used billing periods. This does not limit any mandatory cancellation, refund, or consumer rights that apply to you. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us promptly.

10. Trials and promotions

TraderPact may offer free trials, introductory pricing, discount codes, complimentary access, or other promotions. Additional terms shown with an offer form part of these Terms. Unless the offer says otherwise, a trial that requires a payment method will convert to a paid, automatically renewing subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before that time. We may determine eligibility and prevent abuse of trials or promotions.

11. Payment processing

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. TraderPact does not directly store your full payment-card number. Payment providers process billing information under their own terms and privacy policies. You authorize us to share the account, transaction, and billing information reasonably necessary to process payments, prevent fraud, manage subscriptions, and provide support.

12. Your content

You retain ownership of trade records, journal entries, notes, and other content you submit. You give TraderPact a limited right to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You must have the right to submit your content and must not use the service to store unlawful or harmful material.

13. Acceptable use

You may not misuse TraderPact, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, scrape or overload the service, impersonate another person, use the service for unlawful activity, share paid access outside your account, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.

14. Availability and changes

We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep TraderPact available and accurate, but uninterrupted service, permanent data storage, or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Keep copies of records you need by using the available export tools.

15. Intellectual property

TraderPact, its branding, software, interface, and original content are owned by the TraderPact operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the service.

16. Third-party services

TraderPact relies on third-party authentication, payment-processing, email, and infrastructure services. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TraderPact is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or trading results. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain in effect.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TraderPact and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, trading losses, loss of data, or interruption arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

19. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using TraderPact at any time and delete your TraderPact account through Account & data. Account deletion does not create a right to a refund and does not affect charges already incurred. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or legal rights, when payment is overdue, or when these Terms are materially breached. Provisions that by their nature should survive will continue after termination.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any rights you have under consumer law, disputes will be brought before the courts of Alberta.

21. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. If a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will provide any notice required by applicable law. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them. Billing questions, charge concerns, and other questions may be sent to contacttraderpact@gmail.com.
